unable to win my heart..
Maybe I’m too picky.. Maybe I’m biased because there’s no Jay.. Maybe I’m just not digging the song yet (although after heard the performance version I feel the song quite okay).. Maybe because I feel thre’s something lacking in the dance routine (could it be because there’s someone missing?).. or maybe it’s just because I love Jay tooo much so anything without Jay is sort of lacking..
First, I really really dislike Chansung’s rap in the begining of the song (the one that come right after Taec).. He ruins the song.. Man.. even Yoobin’s rap in Andy oppa’s song didn’t bother me this much (I did get bothered by her rap.. infact I used her rap portion as my alarm coz her voice is sooo damn annoying that after hearing it I would get up right away just to shut it off.. Note : I didn’t hate Yoobin. I just stated my opinion about her rapping skill). And guess what.. Chan’s rap exceeded the annoying rap of our beloved wondergirls. Honestly I can tune in better to the song if only they decided to erase Chan’s rap. (Yeah girls.. it’s that bad..)
Second, I didn’t dig their concept (costume and hairstyle) and probably wouldn’t. What the hell with the palm hairstyle??? Did they want to be the second Sandara Park? No offence towards Sandara.. really.. I looove Woo’s palm hairstyle in Dirty eyed girl parody but for this song I just want to struggle their hairstylist coordinator.. And the costume, snake skin printed suit, Gosh.. JYP-nim… please fire their codi!!!!! Find someone else, please!!!!!
Third, their dancing routin seems to lack of something.. I don’t know.. maybe it’s the concept but I feel in some part the dance just chop out and didn’t flow smoothly like their previous one.. although I love the last part when junho (?) did the flip kick and collapsed in te center of the stage.
But aside from my personal dislike, I think they come out strong (they deserved the title beast more than the new group who had the name,, kekeke). And I think Woo improved the most in this album.. duh.. he sort of replacing Jay as th second lead vocal. They are great.. Their vocal come out strong.. their dancing come out strong too.. But there’s something lacking (well.. you guys may argue that what I felt is based on my great biased towards Jay.. which I might not denied it). But of course they still give the vibe of the old 2PM but at the same time they also feel so different (I don’t know how to explained this.. you can’t describe the feeling.. you just feel it). I dunno maybe I’ll give them another shot before I really said goodbye to K-pop mainstream. 2PM is my last hope to the mainstream and if they come out weak.. I may ot able to hang on to it.
By the way.. I think I officially dislike Hottest. Note that I never dislike particular fanclub. Of course I disagree with some cassies and elfs’ behaviour.. but I never officially hate them. For Hottest I just really really dislike them. More than I dislike Solbi and thausand more than I dislike Chan’s rap in Heartbeat kekeke.. I dunno.. I feel like the whole boycott thing is not for the sake of 2PM but rather it’s to show who had the power to control 2PM. You can argue and defend yourself hottest but that’s what I see from your boycott action. First you said that you want statement from JYP. He gave that but you always find the crack in it and make it as your excuse to justify your action. Hottest don’t know how to be patient, to be understanding, to be supportive. They only know how to demand, force, and destroy (I hope it won’t come to that extent). For me they have failed as a Fanclub.
